Stunt-man tricks

Great! I have the sneaking suspicion that this is just the beginning of stunt-man tricks...

Summer's almost here & it's Pool time

No words necessary - just enjoy the compilation of Pool Time pix!!!!!!!!

Sunny Days are here...

This was all Jackson's doing - he put these sunglasses on all by himself. He was quite proud of this accomplishment.

15 Months Old today!

Today we made the early trek to Dr. Michelle's office for Jackson's 15 month old check up. Well, we had a great report from Dr. M... Jackson is now 27 lbs (80%) and 34.5" tall (95%). She asked what Jackson has been saying, if anything, and we were happy to report that he's been saying approximately 6-10 words, as some words are "starter" words, while others are clearly words. For example, his starter words include "bub-bah" for Bubbies the cat, "buh" for butter, "aba-oh" for avacado, and "bah" for ball. Yes, you noticed too, lot's of "B" words. His other words are same as before, Daddah for Daddy, Appah for Apple, etc...

Jackson points to just about everything & wants to know what it is, so there's lots' of pointing, grunting, I'll say what the object is, then he repeats the word. It's great... so cool to watch his cognitive & language development working simultaneously.

Here are some fun pictures from today - it poured this afternoon while Jacks napped, and while dinner was on the stove & oven cooking we took a few minutes to get the mail & discovered this fabulous mud puddle - well, Jackson actually noticed it & I obliged.

Yes, those are butterflies on his pink & purple Welly's. They were $1.50 at a local thrift shop - I couldn't pass up the sweet deal.

He plops right down in it! At-tah boy!

I think he's diggin the feel of the muck & mud.

Hmm.. What's this? Something small enough to fit in my mouth...let's try it out.

mmmm - yum!

Splish-Splash I was taken a bath all upon a muddy old night... rub-a-dub just-ah splashin' in the grub...

Time to go in for dinner.
